Love Songs will be produced both as a studio version released on CD and as a concert version presented initially in New York City. The estimated budget for this is $12,000. This will go to costs that include studio rental, performer fees, CD production costs, concert production costs, and general promotion.

You're supporting an independent artist. If you're reading this then the chances are good that you're already a fan of the arts in general and are familiar with my work at least a little. Independent artists can be many things—daring, innovative, original—but 'independent' does mean 'alone'. To be successful we must be dependent on the collaboration and cooperation of colleagues, the time and attention of audiences, and the generous support of patrons.

Love Songs is going to be a great project. I'm excited by it and by the challenges it presents.
