Created as a class assignment, this video was shot in the Ohio State University Book Depository, where I work. I've attempted to capture the essence of what being a depository employee is like.

This video was featured on the Ohio State University Film and Video Society's Second Annual Film Festival.

This was the final project for my digital video class. I wanted to see if I could edit video the same way that I compose. That is, if I could make intuitive sense of video using the same procedures I use when working with sound.

 

jitter assignment #1
For this assignment we had to create a patch that would create sound that reacted to movement in front of a camera. This patch generates its sounds using Frequency Modulation (FM) synthesis and a custom additive synth. This video is my project documentation.

This assignment was to build a patch that generates a random sequence of effects and cross fades for two streams of video. Since my footage is books of American fiction, I have the words "It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out..." appearing in random places and arrangements on the screen.
