Elliot Wallace

Percussionist

Elliot Wallace

"I am a drummer and percussionist currently based in New England. It's been about 10 years since I've started my journey playing music, and it's been a fantastic excuse to learn about different cultures, fields of study, and you know...DRUMMING!

"Since variety is the spice of life, I enjoy playing a wide variety of styles. I have much experience playing rock, metal, jazz, classical, chamber, musical theater, and calypso. I'll try to keep an updated collection of projects (old and new) in my media section, so stop back on occasion to check it out!

"I owe a lot to my education. I have a Bachelors of Music from the University of Akron, where I had the pleasure of studying with great teachers such as Dr. Larry Snider, Matthew Dudack, and Mark Gonder. I also received a Masters of Music from the Hartt School of Music, in which I was able to study with Ben Toth, Joe Galeota, John Amira, and Rogerio Boccato.

"Currently, I am professor of percussion at Holyoke Community College and the artist in residence at Simsbury High School."
