Green Is For Grow is a composition for solo cello that starts with a simple repeating pattern that grows over the course of the piece. It was originally inspired by a conversation with choreographer Karen Ivy.
performance notes
Green is For Grow should be performed with as steady and uniform and articulation as possible. Repeated measures may be played as many times as the performer wishes. A small numeral above each repeat sign indicates the minimum number of times the measure(s) in question should be played.
